Tacos Buscados Review

Tacos Buscados is a newly opened taco joint located on the northwest side of Chicago. We here, at The Chicago Report decided to check it out and support the new local and small businesses. The place is very small inside so there is limited seating inside but outside they do have two tables set up and ready to go for those sunny summer days. Joseph and I decided to try their signature California-style burrito which consists of cheese, fries, sour cream, guacamole, and your choice of protein (steak, chicken, ground beef, barboca, or veggies). These burritos were huge and had great taste. We both easily ranked these as their best product. We then also both tried their steak tacos. While on the smaller size, they pack flavor and were overall decent. As a side, we both ordered a cheese and beef empanada. While we agree the beef empanada was the best of the two, the race was pretty close. Really great fried dough on the outside and tasty beef and melted cheese on the inside. For dessert, we had horchata and a churro. The horchata was on the smaller side and didn’t contain any ice. Overall it was average. On the other hand, the churro was great. It was a freshly made churro that had every quality you would want for a churro. A nice crunchy cinnamon shell with a hot and sweet filling on the inside. Overall, Tacos Buscados is a place we would love to return to.
