Schiller Disc Golf Course 1

Schiller Disc Golf Course

A welcome surprise to the northwest side of Chicago. A new disc golf course can now be found at 8201-8307 W Montrose Ave.
Chicago, IL 60634 which is the Schiller Playfield. The course consists of 9 holes, is 2918 ft in space, and takes on average 48 minutes to play. Currently, this is a temporary course made possible through a collaboration of the Forest Preserves of Cook County and the organization of Disc Golf Chicago. The course will be tested throughout the summer and both parties will receive feedback to decide whether or not to implement a permanent course and what changes would need to be made. I’ve already played the course twice and loved it. It’s short, simple, and sweet. You get the benefit of being only able to play 9 holes or play 18 by running it back, most of the land is wide open which leads to players being able to focus on their shot more, and a benefit is that there are not many areas to lose your precious disc. If you haven’t played disc golf before and live in the area, I would highly recommend going out and exploring this new course. We want this project to become permanent so make sure to fill out the form after playing right here.
