Red Light Chicken is a small restaurant that has been my business now for the last two years. It is a small red shack that many people would never know is there unless they walked by or knew about it. It is located at 2147 N Sheffield Ave in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago. Their menu is really simple consisting of a chicken sandwich, chicken nuggets, and fries.
Over the last two years, it has easily become one of my favorite places to go. I discovered Red Light Chicken from a friend who I work with at DePaul University in Lincoln Park. As a big chicken sandwich fan, I was eager to go and try a new place. I came in with decent expectations and they were all blown away.
The chicken sandwiches are so juicy, the nuggets are of great size, and the fries are nice and soft. For the sandwich, you can get it with mayo, pickles, cheese, honey, or hot honey. Moreover, they offer sauces if you want to put on your sandwich or dip the nuggets and fries in. They offer a signature spicy mayo and your classic barbecue.
To say I’m addicted is an understatement. It is truly one of my favorite places to go and get a bite to eat. The staff is always friendly and fast with service. I can’t recommend enough for you to try Red Light Chicken.
